Artist's Comments

No word is necessary to describe her.. America's top sex symbol in Hollywood history .. i have a lot of ref photo of her to draw from,, but i chose this one which shows her true beauty and the glamor in an upward angle.. the blond hair is a lot harder to achieve than the darker hair.. so a lot of erasing job was needed than actual pencil stroke on her hair..so this is my 11th FINALLY!! I only have one more to go.. but can't decide on which one.. I have Julie Andrews from The Sound of the Music and Sophia Loren in my mind.. if you have any suggestion let me know.. thank you! the size is 15inX19in and the Vellum bristol board I use for the paper..

This is so beautiful! Your attention to detail is always so remarkable--the lips, the shadows, and every single strand of her remarkable hair is perfectly placed. You really are amazing :D

As for your next drawing...I'll submit a vote for Julie Andrews, but ultimately it's your decision, and I know that anyone you draw will turn out beautifully :)

Lots of practice and taking it slow are key for a work of art... never ever rush a drawing because it will look it!
